Our Annual General Meeting was held on Thursday 27 June. We took the opportunity to organise our first symposium on the “One Health” approach, with guests from the Institute of Tropical Medicine, the Royal Museum for Central Africa and Médecins du Monde Belgium.
Food.Film.Fest. 2023: on the transition to an agro-ecological food system
We participated in the agro-ecological film festival Food.Film.Fest again this year. We showed the film ‘Sur Le Champ!’, followed by a debate on the opportunities and challenges presented by a transition to an agro-ecological food system.

Flemish Region: repeal of the duo legacy
From 1 July 2021, the duo bequest will no longer apply in the Flemish Region. The tax advantage will therefore be abolished. If you used it in your will, we recommend that you consult your notary as soon as possible in order to adapt your will to your wishes.
Get 60% of your donations back in 2020!
In 2020, the tax reduction for donations to approved institutions such as ours will increase from 45% to 60% in Belgium. So your donation of 40 euros will actually only cost you 16 euros.

After a self-assessment process supervised by Bbest, Vétérinaires Sans Frontières Belgium has received the label « Recognised for Excellence 3 star » for the quality of its management.
Film Festival “Perspectives on Pastoralism”
Vétérinaires Sans Frontières and CELEP organize a film festival about pastoralism on 15 October: 11 short films focusing on the lifestyle of nomadic herders and the problems they are facing around the world.
