After a self-assessment process supervised by Bbest, we are proud to announce that we have received the label « Recognised for Excellence 3 star » from the Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM). This label rewards the efforts of our organisation regarding management and sustainable development.

The EFQM model

The EFQM® excellence model is one of the most popular quality tools in Europe. It is used by more than 30 000 organisations with the aim of improving their performance.

Vétérinaires Sans Frontières Belgium started a self-assessment process based on this model, under the supervision of Bbest. Over the past 6 months, a team of evaluators has analysed the functioning of our organisation on the basis of 9 criteria. They also paid special attention to anticipation, innovation, prospective, strategy, ethics and social responsibility.

New challenge: a fourth star

Bbest’s evaluation enabled us to identify additional improvement areas. We will start taking steps with a lot of enthusiasm. The work is never finished! We are determined to make every effort in the coming three years to achieve a fourth star during the next evaluation.
