Symposium 2026
Vétérinaires Sans Frontières Belgium invites you to its annual symposium on 13 October 2026 at Chalet Robinson (Bois de la Cambre, Brussels).
Organised as part of the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists and the European Shepherds’ Walk, the symposium will focus on rangelands and pastoralism.
On the programme: the story of the Walk, told by the shepherds themselves, after more than two weeks on the road with their sheep, as well as a panel of experts and pastoralists exploring the challenges surrounding the recognition of their role in preserving nature.
The event is open to everyone and no prior knowledge is required.

Dog walk
Take part on Sunday 10 May 2026 in a friendly dog walk in support of Vétérinaires Sans Frontières, organised by veterinarian Clément Dejonghe.
Starting point: Clément Dejonghe Veterinary Practice, 179 Route de Frasnes, 7812 Mainvault
– Welcome from 9:30 am
– Walk starts from 10:00 am (± 1 hour)
– 11:30 am: blessing of the animals by Father Martin
After the walk, visit the Vétérinaires Sans Frontières stand and the bar.
