We want to inform people in Belgium about problems, challenges, innovation and solutions in the African countries where we work. We want to share our expertise and raise awareness. But we want more than that. We want you to get enthusiastic for international solidarity; we want you to take action. We want you to share our information, raise your voice, attend an activity, go on an exchange trip or fundraise. Only then can we continue our global fight for a better world.

Vétérinaires Sans Frontières Belgium is a member of Vétérinaires Sans Frontières International (VSF International), which counts thirteen members active in more than 40 countries in Africa, Latin America and Asia. All of us support family farming and cattle breeding in the South.

The members of VSF International align the regions where they are active. We share resources, experience and knowledge, and this way increase our own capacities and those of our local partners.

Since 2013 Vétérinaires Sans Frontières Belgium is the focal point of the Coalition of European Lobbies on Eastern African Pastoralism (CELEP). The Coalition is composed of about 25 European Organisations and 7 Eastern African partner organisations working together on pastoralism in East Africa.

CELEP focuses on knowledge management, communication and advocacy and targets EU policy making for the explicit recognition of pastoralism as a valuable livelihood and strategy to fight climate change and increase food security and resilience.

Vétérinaires Sans Frontières Belgium works closely with various partners and networks to inform, sensitize and mobilize citizens and policy makers.
